Subject: [CR] Jeffrey Richman Frames

The Jeffrey Richman frame/bike that Bob pointed out is a really nice and interesting frame. I hope someone on the list picks it up. I'd be tempted myself if I didn't have so many other things in the works right now. Not only because it's nice, but also because of my affinity for American builders, particularly those that are under represented (and often under appreciated) in the collector community.

I have a Jeffrey Richman tandem frame with what appears to be some of the original build parts (Stronglight 99 drive train, Phil hubs, Weinmann rims) . It has some nicks and scratches, but looks to be the original finish and graphics. The frame has a lot of interesting details. I don't have any pictures of it at the moment, but will try to get some when time permits so that Dale can add something to the CR site.

>>Jeff Richmond was more of a Tandem guy that a Single bike builder. He also was an early builder of those fat tired off topic bikes of which he gets little credit for(even though he supplied the self proclaimed ''Inventor'' of that Type along with Ritchey).
Dale how about adding him to the CR list of US Builders? Certainly he built many more Tandems than most other builders listed there. BOB FREITAS
