I confess to having a touch of the flu or at least a bad cold so my eyes glazed over when I saw so many "What I ride" posts... I just have to trust you folks will be good about staying on topic.

Now I KNOW you must see that people quit the CR list because of the volume of mail, so you surely sensitive about sending mail that is 'weighty', correct?

Thanks Dale

I expect Dale has been keeping an eye on the discussion and is OK with it. Nearly all the posts have contained references to on-topic bikes, and the issue of "the weather's lousy: what do I ride if I ride at all" seems to me part of the ongoing discussion of old bikes and collectors. How and when old bikes are ridden, and what us addicts do when conditions are bad has added to our knowledge of each others' attitudes, activities and stables. This discussion has also moved a number of people to contribute for the first time, which is a very good thing.

I've enjoyed the thread a lot, and learned quite a bit.
