I don't ride that much nowadays ... sigh. Hopefully in a month or two everything is sorted out, and I can ride every classic bike in my collection that is my size, and be a show-off at the same time.

Anyway ... around here (where temps are still pretty unpleasant) I use a mid 70s gaspipe Superia with fenders and not always working lights as get-around-town-bike. When the tires are well-pumped its pretty quick, but I really hate its cornering mannerisms.

When on a proper race bike I nowadays usually grab my c.1990 Brands, pretty much KOF, built by Peter van de Klundert of Sirocco bikes. Thats a bike that really fits me! Fairly agressive, short (56) toptube for its 58 c-t seattube. On other days I use a OT titanium bike, handmade in China ... to my specs I might add. And since I've fitted it with modern 9 speed gear and very well built wheels, this is a really comfortable and fast bike, reminiscent of the steel bikes, only tighter feeling in every respect.

Is it only me that thinks that 9 and 10 speed chains feel better?
