You can see as Jay says that this saddle model was obviously produced over a long time span with many variations: FT and TB stamps, several styles of badges and later models without the grommeted bag loops. The sellers selling the apparent factory reject leather tops moved quite a few of those as you can see on my page. I haven't noticed any alloy framed versions, but they may exist. I've noted prices for complete Ideale 44 saddles ranging from 52 to 455 USD.

I hope others are archiving/documenting the ephemeral images posted to Ebay auctions of this old bike stuff, in some cases they are the only reference images that can be found on the web and I'm sure I'm missing lots of them.
