Richard Cielec's question earlier this week about Ambrosio Elite rims reminded me that I am looking for some information regarding Ambrosio Kerelite rims. These rims have a strange, slightly rough texture on the braking surfaces, while the top of the rim is simply clear anodized. They are nice looking clincher rims (mine are 36 hole) with dimensions similar to the Elites.
I have a vague recollection that these were intended for a specific type of brake pad, but that's about all I know; that is, I don't know what type of pad that was. Do any of you know more about these?
