Subject: [CR] LEJEUNE models

To follow up on Mr. Lockley's post concerning Lejeune's support for local teams, I have a Lejeune stayer which I believe was made in the early 60's for a team based at one of the tracks in the Paris suburbs. https://picasaweb.google.com/Choburger/LeJeune#slideshow/5436357055338389634. I can't imagine that there was enough of a market for these bikes to justify making them for retail sale. They were probably made on special order or in small numbers for supported teams. One probably had to fly the flag in the post-war years when the Germans were threatening to dominate motor-paced racing. Viva la France!
