He's also selling a ratty PX-10 for $1700.00, which is about double what one could reasonably expect, even on a good day.

This Romic is interesting for a couple of reasons..for one, from the photos, the head-lugs appear to been filed far more than I've ever seen them on any other Romic of this style--including a nice one I have, on which the lugs are minimally finished.

Overall the frame appears better-finished-off than the usual Romic.

Price seems high to me, but, then this seller seems to be quite optimistic. He's selling a white Gitane TdF that's seen better days, for nearly 900 bucks..which seems about twice as high as a reasonably going rate for that bike.

Ah well. Without optimists, where would we be??
