This bike made the rounds in Bikeforums.net, and the owner seemed to be aware that this was no Herse or Singer. Now the images on the thread are gone, and bike shows up on eBay. I also agree that the seatpost looks too small, I would not be surprised if the tubing is not in fact metric (to go with the Italian thread BB).

It might be a very well made frame etc, etc but the seller is making a clai= m that can't be proven I guess unless he can find a serial number or so= mething else that can help find out what this bike actually is. Without tha= t it is preposterous to claim the frame might be anything more than a frame= similar in style to a Herse or Singer. My two cents.
