About 25 years ago my brother-in-law bought a Raleigh Competition painted a beautiful lilac color. It's the only Raleigh of that color that I've ever seen, and I've been searching for one ever since. I'd be proud to ride either the Colnago or the Competition. That color was a reflection of the times, and to me, timeless.

Peter, It is pretty, but to me it looks like a woman's bike and at 58 cm, a tall woman. I would be as self conscious on it as I would be driving a new style VW Beetle.
