Sorry, I didn\u2019t realize this was on-list. I responded off-line.

Yes, standard issue PowerGrips. I have used these since the 70s on all my bikes. Sadly, I can't use these with either my beloved Barelli B-10 nor the Phil Wood CHP pedals. You need eyelets on the back of the pedal for the rear corner mount.

They are nice. They are not widely used, those who do like them, love them. I had them on my Ritchey Mtn bike, as well as my TDF since they came out. Rather cheap. Last forever. The practical fact that they are sport shoe or even dress shoe friendly has remained a big advantage for the pleasure bikes.

They come in a couple colors. Most have the name/logo in huge letters, but you just unscrew the mount and flip the strap over. Then it's on the inside. Personally, I just love them. Mount with toe in, straighten your foot to tighten. Adjustable. I don't use cleats except under duress.

Strap me in.

That's a nice bike Owen,

But moreover...what about those toe straps ? I've never seen anything like them.
