I'm relisting the 47 Hetchins for sale as it was sold to a CR Member, but payment has not been made in a timely manner after a few months. Dale has okayed the relisting. ~~~~~ For sale: A 1947 Super Special with Vibrant Stays that I purchased from the son of the original owner. I was told that the paint work is original, but the headbasge is of the later 1960s period. Frame size is 23"CT with a 22" CC top tube. The saddle is a Brooks B-17 with an unlabeled alloy seat pin, Pivo stem with alloy bars, Weimann sideull brakes, Williams 1200 crankset, Cyclo single right shifter with Cyclo rear derailleur, Dunlop Special Lightweight 27X1&1/4" stainless rim laced to what look to be Brittish Hub Company high flange hubs, and a Chater Lea headset. Of the original Super Specials produced only about 22-24 survive. This one is too big for me, plus I already have a fully restored 1946 Super Special done by Joe Bell.
Asking price is $2500 or Best Offer plus shipping.
