List,

I debated posting this sale listing here due to the age of the bike, but given it's history and build, I think it's squarely KOF and I'd like it to go into the hands of someone who will appreciate and care for it.

The bike is a 1988 7-Eleven Team Huffy Serotta, 54.25cm ST, 55cm TT. It's in nearly spotless condition, with number hanger and all team stickers. I haven't been able to verify whether it's Columbus or True Temper tubing, although Serotta reported that teething issues with the True Temper tubing breakage had been sorted out by that time in the relationship.

I believe it was a spare training bike, as it shows little wear, and is equipped with largely unworn MA40 clincher rims and Shimano 600 brakes (vs. Wolber tubies and the pro-only large-logo-ed Dura Ace levers you typically see in pictures from). There are no initials that would have indicated a particular rider, but I'm still doing homework on that.

The bike was owned by a family friend, and when I found out about it I bought it sight unseen, cleaned it up and have been enjoying it. Unfortunately, unexpected housing expenses mean I have to pass this one on. I'd be a happy hobo with a nice Serotta, but that would be of little consolation to the wife.

It's a very quick and responsive rider - feels similar to my old crit-geometry De Rosa SLX, if that's helpful for comparison.
