In your recollection of history, did Vulcan subcontract with other builders, or is it safe to assume that any Vulcan bears Steve's hand in manufacture?
What else can anyone tell me about Vulcan bicycles? The reason I ask is that I have an opportunity to acquire a pair of Vulcan bicycles, where Vulcan is cast into the seat stay caps. There appear to be no other markings on the bikes but I have yet to see them in person, perhaps tomorrow. The bikes apparently have Campagnolo dropouts and are largely Nuovo Record equipped.
