Subject: [CR] A nice sample of tandems on a CR list ride

Recall a nice sampling of tandems on Gabriel and Rita Romeu sponsored CR list ride in NJ in the Fall of 2008.

Agree with Harvey that improper fitting tandems can create problems (i.e., short stoker sections) --- solved the short stoker on the Rauler tandem for my wife by installing a long setback seatpost, but still a bit tight for her on the back.

All the on-topic vintage tandems (Serotta, Bruce Gordon, and Rauler) that were on the ride can be viewed at the following Wool Jersey page (there was another modern tandem along for the ride that wasn't included in this photo):

Tandems are great fun!!! My wife is always telling me to pedal harder to keep up with her.
