Fun thread.

My every day bike is an OT Carl Strong custom from '98 - early TIG welded Columbus FOCO from a builder who is now quite highly regarded. I love it too much to replace it. For early season rides when I'm not pushing it too hard, it's the '70s Braxton fixed gear - mostly Zeus 2000 - on nice days and smooth roads, and an '83 Trek 560 that I've owned from new on not-so-nice days. My "Sunday go to meetings" bike is an early '80s Braxton road frame built from Reynolds 531SL with an odd mix of Mavic SSC, Zeus 2000 and funky two-toned Universal Super 77s that came from a list member.

Sold the Litespeed Hiawassee and the Fisher Sugar Team after a dislocated shoulder ended my MTB riding. Sold the Dean Ti road frame a few years back because for as nicely made as it was, it just had no soul. Only steel bikes left in my stable.

Cheers,
