Barum is a Czech company, and still makes automotive tires. So you might want to just drop them a line, I believe they do have a website. They were "THE" tires to have when I rode CX in the '80s, but any info before that I can't help you with. I do believe the USSR marked tires were made by Barum. best, Brandon Ives Springfield, MO
