Mostly I ride the commuter bicycle I made a couple of years ago at Doug Fattic's shop. It is mostly true temper Versus with a Tange top tube. I used touring geometry with Pacenti lugs and BB shell, Henry James crown and stainless drop outs. I equipped it with 9spd chorus and a triple, over kill for commuting in Sacramento but it was what I had available. Last Fall I switched for a while and rode my 1974 Witcomb. This bike is 531 with beefy stays, chrome long point lugs, full sloping crown, wrap-over seat cluster, chrome fork/stay-ends, Suntour Dropouts front and rear, well worn but nice silver and blue paint scheme and pin striping. My latest acquisition is a 1970 Paramount in yellow. Needs a paint job but rest of bike will clean up nicely. I will get it ride worthy this spring and think about paint when my bank account grows a little...sigh.
