1. MS Outlook is a client, not an email system.
2. Yes you can do that in Outlook - helps though if the folder in question when exported is less than 2 Gigabytes in size...else issues may arise.
3. Who knows...maybe someone does - assuming they always saved everything and did nothing more than just read it and move on.
