Yes, I am the idiot who paid, more than triple, what the frameset is actually worth. I tried to get it on a "buy it now" basis for $500, but alas, the Polish seller became acutely aware of exactly what he had under that cruddy silver paint job once he examined Stefan's Leggerissimo that was also for sale on E-bay at exactly the same time: http://www.speedbicycles.ch/showBike.php?enr=383&PHPSESSID=5119586d7f35e1573cb09a41d82250cc Who would guess, with maybe 50 or fewer of these in the world, that two would be for sale at the same time? (I just made up that statistic, I have no idea how many are in existence in the world). All I know is that they are cool, and I want one, and the bike Stefan was selling is too small for me. I have the Nuovo Record group to build up the frame, and the paint job and decals shouldn't be more than $500. So, maybe I will come out O.K.
