I have a winter project going with a mid-late 1970's Pogliaghi, and am still learning much.
The question I have - Is there a known cut-off for frames made by Santo Pogliaghi himself, supervised frames, and other? The frame I have has a "psm" stamp, which from I've read is an indicator that the frame was produced under supervision. They are all quality frames - but is there a year cut-off or another indicator that anyone is aware of? My guess is that in the 70's, most frames were made under supervision, which is noted with the "psm" stamp. Pre-70's with a lower amount of frames produced - more likely made by Mr. Pogliaghi. Probably an over-simplistic theory...
This is new to me and I appreciate any insight/theories that folks may have.
Thanks.
