"I ride a 2002 853 steel Lemond Buenos Aires that fits me beautifully. I can ride it comfortably all day."

"There is no way that a 59cm Lemond frame fits you properly. Period... 'internet fitting' is truly a fool's quest"

If internet fitting is truly a fool's quest, then it surely must be foolish to tell someone over the internet that a bike which he can ride comfortably all day doesn't fit him properly.

For a tall person, the seat tube length is the least relevant dimension -- with a seatpin you can make it any length you like. What you need is plenty of room to raise the bars as well, and that means a long top tube.
