I would really like to ride L'Eroica this year. In fact, I scheduled our Furnace Creek 508 race one week later this year, just to free up the first weekend of October.
For those who have done it before, what can you tell me / us about the logistics? In particular, where should we stay, specifically? I have to believe that nearly every hotel within 100km of there is sold out already? For us neophytes, what do we need to know and do? Hotels, airport, getting to and from, what not to miss, etc? Can the veterans provide a bullet point list, please? Also, if there is a CR Group already organized, or organizing, I'd love to join up.
