I've not noticed different bends for the pivot arms, but this may be the case?

However: there are 2-speed & 3-speed versions of the Cyclo-Benelux Mk7, produced for these conversions. There are no adjustable stops on these derailleurs, limiting the range of travel is achieved by including a 'collar' inside the spring mechanism ...

The jockey-wheel cage is stamped "2sp" or "3sp" (or something similar) to indicate that the 'internals' have been installed for this purpose.

I am relatively new to this group; this is my second posting.  I live in NYC and currently have 12 bikes, only three of which are relevant here, all Raleigh's.

Last year I purchased a 1948 Raleigh clubman that had an FW hub and a Cyclo Benelux 2 speed conversion kit.  However, someone had substituted a schwinn derailleur.  Based on what I observed on the web, a mark 7 derailleur looked like the  right, original set up.  However, the one I purchased did not align right; when the coil spring is extended, the pulley is in the spokes. When pulled all the way out, it still does not align w/ cogs.

Looking again at a Raleigh sport on eBay w/ a similar setup and a mark 7, it appears that the pivot arm is bent differently, angling out so that the pulleys line up.  Its steel so should be bendable.

My question is: Are the pivot arms on Mark 7 deraileurs bendable, that is, were they intended to be field adjusted to align, or rather were they offered in several different factory set up bends and I just ended up the
wrong bend?
