Hello CR members, I am new to this arena and am very impressed by the wealth of knowledge and experience. I recently acquired a Vitus 778 framed bike that has a steering post decal that declares itself to be a Van Haelen by Lorris Cycles. It was somewhat damaged and had a few shimano bits installed but still has a Stronglight 99 triple crank and Sachs Huret DR's. I have made further shimano indiscretions to it in order to decide its worthiness and so far it is proving to be a sweet little ride. Does anyone know about Lorris Cycles? This is obviously not a high end race piece but still worthy of preservation in some format. I believe it is an early 80's bike and so it qualifies to make this listing. Any information would be appreciated.
