Anyone out there interested in a classic CONDOR (London) road frame ? If you are you will need to log on to Ebay before long.
This Reynolds 653 frame is current;y standing at £165 with about sixteen housr to run on the auction.
The frame is a 54cms 'square'one with CONDOR logos engraved on the top-eyes, fork crown..and possibly bracket shell. It is a thorough-going road frame with plenty braze-ons including a number plate peg under the top-tube. It would not surprise me if this frame had been one of those supplied by Condor to one of its sponsored riders.
The paintwork looks to be in good nick..a sort of fire=engine red merged with white. The spray job was done by frame-builder Chris Marshall of Keighley, whose work is usually very good....and the frame bears his transfers, although I reckon it would not entail a lot of work to spray over them and add CONDOR ones.
If anyone on the List chances to win this frame and wants to have the CONDOR transfers added I would be willing to take the frame into Chris - he sprays my frames..and to see what could be done.
