Folks...your in for a real treat today...you wont see anything like this for a long long time. Back in the day, I used to race bikes (before it was hip and everyone did it)
I lived in Europe and as I travelled, started going to these old mom and pop bikes shops in Paris, Madrid, Rome, as well as the UK and bought individual parts to build my dream bike....well here it is....an 80's Pagani one off, custom built up for me.
The bike has never been ridden and everything on the bike is brand new, as in New Old Stock...if you know what that means. Its been hanging in my home office indoors, and is now looking of a new owner....could it be you?
The bike MUST be seen to be belived....worth your time...even if only to pay homage to a bike you may never see the likes of again :)) The pictures on craigslist cannot even begin to do this baby justice.
Although many of you know that Super Record Campy was Campagnolo top of the line equipment, usually with titanium parts, I always prefered to find some of the lesser known names that had parts of equal or same (better) quality, and weighed less that Campy, but may not have had the same name recognition. My personal favorite company was Zeus (made in Spain) that offered the world's lightest rear derailleur, and the most beautiful crankset I had ever seen. The Zeus 2000 series was gorgeous and super light drilled rings and drilled and milled crank arms...something that I have never seen before or after. Bike weighs 20.4lbs
The 58cm frameset is painted a gorgeous silver with yellow highlights in all the cut outs of the lug work. Black and Yellow is used as the trim color throughout the bike and it is simply stunning.
