All of this Romic chat has gotten me interested in putting together a basic registry. If I can pull it off I'll turn it over to Rich Pinder to add to his Romic tribute website. It could be a way for Rich P. to enhance the Gallery portion of the site. Here's what I'm looking for:
serial number (the first sequence of numbers, typically a few digits with a letter or 5 digits) date code (the last 5 or 6 digits, readable as mm/dd/yy) model (if you know it) pictures (if you got 'em) an indication whether or not you would like to be identified with the bike/frame
I will use the data to try to gain a deeper understanding of the production mystery (e.g. did Romic really make over 14,000 frames?).
I have the info I need for these serial numbers, so if it's yours, just let me know about the confidentiality question: 739, 10014, 10830, 11109, 13583, 14051
Anecdotes or comments that come along with the bike or frame are welcome.
