Subject: [Classicrendezvous] that oh-so-rare oval Campagnolo frame sticker

I need one of those oval Campagnolo frame stickers from the 70s, white/blue/yellow, with the globe-logo and Campagnolo emblazoned thereon in script. About an inch long give-or-take. You know the one.

I was bidding on an interesting variant of this sticker on ebay today, but somebody wants it more than I do, and it's not quite right anyway, it has a gold outline, instead of white (or black, or whatever it was). I don't have one in front of me at the moment so I can't describe it exactly.

Anyway, if you have one of these to sell, please let me know, I will pay a good price for it. Mike Kone was selling them a few years ago, I have to believe there are a few floating around out there still, for less than the 40 bucks I was going to have to pay on ebay--and it wasn't the right one anyway. Somehow 40 bucks for a sticker that cost what? a buck at most in 1975? that stuck in my craw. Those things would have been a great investment, huh?

E-mail me if you have one to sell.

Thanks
