Dale, Indeed! Maybe I'm missing something here, but this seems to me to be a lot of value for the money. I've never seen a "real" all-rounder, but I just can't imagine what else there would be by paying double (other than maybe true made-to-measurment). Especially since this comes with decent HS and BB spec'd and installed. Anyway this is one slick "production" frame, and you were spot on about the back end stays and the excellant overall finish work and attention to detail. Can even live with the glued on headbadge. A modern "classic" lugged steel frame in looks to me all the way. I've no experience with 650 wheels by the way, so probably could use some advice anyone on what the front rings and casette range should be, it's mostly flat around here where we try an go these days. Want to do STI also because of the hands, so if anyone has any thoughts we'd certainly be much obliged. Love the hat by the way .... Robert Clair Alexandria, VA
