I like it; makes it interesting! If you want to go after the "athletic" hr/record you do it on a bike very close to Eddy's. If you want to go after the "techno" hr/record... your free to do that too. Whole different bike. Currently Boardman has both records.

The only techno advantage I don't see addressed is the plastic coating applied to the Manchester track. Not the same as 1972 Mexico City, and a distinct advantage from what I hear!
