I have had two GPM cranks and I can't say that they are second rate. I once had a OMAS headset and crankset. I think the OMAS may have looked more svelte, but it was definately made out of softer alloy than the GPM. I have seen Galli cranksets, but have no actual ride time on them to say one way or another. The same goes for the Zues, I have seen their cranks, but have no ride time on them. However, they seemed to be well machined components maybe because they looked so much like Campy.
