Hi Wes, Shimano has made some in the past. In fact, I can think of three different versions. My favorite was the SM-SH30, which was a general purpose slotted cleat. They also made a version with funky tabs that was intended to work with Shimano shoes. Lastly, they made some psuedo-slotted cleats; the SM-SH24. These were primarily Look cleats, but had a token shallow slot at the rear for use with conventional pedals. To my knowledge, none of these are still being manufactured. One of my LBSs has some of the -SH24s in a box off in a dusty corner. I could pick up a couple of pair for you if you are so inclined. They require some work with a Dremel tool to whack off the front half (at least that's what works for me), and to deepen the slot. Maybe some of the CR members know of some of the -SH30s stashed away somewhere?? Rumor has it that the trackies have cleaned all of the Shimano cleats out of the shops, but a few may remain. I'm still hoping that one of the resourceful CR members will figure out how to mount some TA Anquetil cleats to a modern shoe!!
