In my earlier posts, I assumed the Cinelli bars with "Cinelli" on one side and a star or flower blossom on the other are older than the ones with "Cinelli" on both sides and no real logo except the winged C in "Cinelli". Others seem to think it may be the other way around. Anyone know which is the case? I don't have any of the new grooved mod 64 or 66s, how are they engraved? Also, was the old Cinelli logo actually the coat of arms of the city of Milano, and therefore not subject to being copyrighted by Cinelli? If so that might explain why Antonio Colombo, when he bought the company, switched to another logo which he could copyright.
