Aldo,

Seems crazy but during the summer I offered a list of items for sale to this CR group. About 1/3 of it sold. I then placed about 6 of the remaining items on ebay with opening bid amounts a little less then my offers to the group but with the reserve equal to my CR offer. Some sold, some did not. Two of the items I didn't sell I relisted with higher amounts just for the hell of it and you know what - I started getting bids and made out pretty good on those two items. Moral of the story - Ebay defies common sense and logic and you should expect the unexpected!

CR I'm still scratching my head about this one... a Colnago Super (NR/SR mix) tandem on eBay. It failed to reach reserve during the first auction, with a high bid of $1025

http://ebay.com/<blah>

Now it's relisted with an minumum opening bid of $2500

http://ebay.com/<blah>

or, you can "buy it now" for $6000!

If no one was willing to go over $1025 the first time, what are the odds of getting $6G out of it one week later?
