I have a set of platform pedals with the word "sheffield" on the end dust caps. What type are these?? They came off the Bianchi project I was finishing up. I know the components on the Bianchi are all early 60s, say 62-63. But the frameset is at the most a 1960 but probably late 50s. Also, the saddle on this Bianchi is very Brooks like with the leather and brass rivets, but embossed on the side is the word. "Record" with a "M.D." below it. Any clue??

I f memory serves, Sheffield is famous for it's steel produced in Shefield England. Record is known for good quality bench vises, chisels, planes etc... Also in England. I don't know if there is any Italian conection
