Ah.....I guess I didn't die after all. For a moment yesterday I thought I'd maybe died and gone to heaven. Imagine 4 huge rooms filled with used and new bicycles, components, various tools, clothing, etc.....reds, blues, chrome. Textures of all kinds - glossy, flat, smooth, worn. Layered on top were the people! Bikes nuts taking in every little bike opportunity there was. There was something for everyone - and I loved it all. Like Larry Osborn, I especially enjoyed the vicarious pleasure of helping friends find things.

I ended up buying a Gitane pro cyclocross bike! Richard (Sachs), your enthusiasm has rubbed off on me. It's not a vintage bike - but maybe a classic in years to come.

What continues to make these events so wonderful are the mutual friends I share it with. I am indebted to this list for gracing my friendships. Foremost - is Larry (Black). This swap is one of my favorite shared traditions.
