I feel blessed to have had such a wonderful turnout of some of cycling s true legends. People come to see people, and the bikes. It's people like Brian Bayliss, Peter and Jan Johnson, Joe Bell, Jim Cunningham,Chuck Schmidt,Mat Gorski,Phil Brown, Charles Andrews and all the others that showed up that made this ride a success. We had some wonderful classic bikes show up including Peter Johnson's 1956 Bianchi, which was previously owned by a Bianchi sponsored professional rider from that era. Also Jan Johnson's 1965 Cinelli Super Coarsa, Matt Gorski's 1970's Jack Taylor Super Tourist,Chuck Schmidt's 1952 Hetchins, Brian's Hetchins,Jim Ogden's 1959 Raleigh Lenton and Jim Cunnungham's 1960's Carlton International. We also had a 1980 Raleigh 753 Team Pro in mint condition. The next ride will be on Sunday, April 15th, same place same time, so get your taxes done. We will ride French Bicycles. I know of two Alex Singers that are planning on coming, so get out your Rene Herse,Follis,Gitane,Peugeot,Routon,Stella, Mercier, Motobecane etc.. tell all your friends and expect to have a lot of fun.
