An earlier post mentioned the black-anodized SR prototype SR stuff and it got me to thinking how easy it would be for someone to have some rings and headsets and seatpost parts black anodized and try to pass them off as ultra-rare Campy prototypes. That these parts show up the a catalog would make their authenticity at least remotely plausible. I will not be surprised if something like that shows up on Ebay soon... or perhaps some Super Record hub axles. Who has ever actually seen one? A ti axle marked Brev. Int. probably wouldn't be too hard to make.
