Someone posted about a swap meet coming up but commented that it was mostly ballon tire stuff. Many people ask how I find the best deals, well right there is the trick. I buy most of my "classic" parts at Crusier swaps. Most of these folks have "classic" parts they've gotten in trades and barn buy-outs and they want to get rid of them. If you have some things that they want you can get the best trades. One of my best was a New Departure Model "A" for a full Campy Colnago in so-so shape. Some people on the list will be annoyed that I've "let the cat out of the bag" but I'd rather see someone buy the stuff than have it sit in a besement somewhere.
