It pains me deeply to do this. I have found a new love, and I have been ordered to find a good home for this poor, sad machine. To think that I would EVER sell my soul for a French machine! But I saw this pretty little queen named Rene, with her 650B wheels and her Maxicar hubs--and her 25" frame--and her Bill Boston finish, and I was captured.

So here are the vitals: 1982 Bill Boston, 61cm seat tube, 57 cm top tube, 104 cm wheelbase, all braze-ons, Columbus tubing. Campagnolo Record front derailleur, high flange 36x hubs, 27.0 seatpost, Rally rear derailleur, Gran Sport brakes. Avocet (Ofmega) 170mm cranks, 52-46-32 chainrings, sealed bottom bracket, Ofmega headset, Mavic Mod 4 700c rims with Specialzed touring 2 tires. Silca pump with Campagnolo head.

Your choice of Nitto Moustache handlebar and long-rise stem (as pictured) or 7cm Cinelli stem and SR Randonneur bars. In either case, Suntour Barcons are installed.

Also, your choice of Campagnolo Record Pista pedals or Shimano SPD pedals.

Another choice: Avocet men's or women's Touring II saddles.

The color is plain pewter. There are a few dings on the bike, consistent with its age. I've included pix of the dings that occurred when my wife took a fall riding this bike about 10 years ago, just so you can see that the damages are minor.

The price is $950, plus $40 for packing and shipping. I can supply photos by request, and I will be forwarding the full set to Dale for the Bill Boston site at CR.

Please help me find a good home.

Morgan

PS: a home for the bike, that is!
