If any of you have heard Eddy VanGuyse announce at bike races (such as the DC and Clarendon races a couple of weeks ago) he was the Italian team captain who stuck the pump through the front wheel in Breaking Away. I first met him when we were both first year seniors in the 1968 Olympic trials. Ed
