They use costerbrakes. The track is a dead flat cinder 400 yard classic track track. This was a very popular style of racing until 1970 or so, and I think there are still a few cinder and grass tracks in the British Isles. It's a very VERY different kind of racing than the kind of "track" racing most of you know. enjoy Brandon"mokeyman"Ives
