Hi Eric, I have an '82 Olmo Competition, and while it's definitely got some miles on it, it is a fine looking bike! The bike is equipped with Campy NR parts, many of which were heavily pantographed. I've got some pics, if you are interested. The pantographed parts include: 3TTT stem brake levers brake calipers seatpost shift levers crank arms (these have "OLMO" pantographed down the crank arms. The cranks themselves also have been given "the Mexico treatment", which rounds off the cranks cross section and mills out the center of each arm in the spider. The whole crank is polished to a mirror finish) chain rings I've pulled off the rings and put them into storage, but I'm using the rest of the parts. The bike gets ridden once or twice a week, including the bi-monthly time trial. Equipped with sew-ups and a 13-19 freewheel, it zips right along. Oh yeah... this was my first (and only) Italian bike too. It's red, of course!

cheers, Steve Kurt in a future suburb of Chicago; Peoria, IL
