Thanks for the insight. I only got the bike (in pieces) this morning and haven't really "looked" it over completely. The previous owner stripped the paint and was surprised at the chrome frame, so I'm guessing the lugs, stays and fork blades were chrome, while the rest was painted with a translucent color. I'll know more after I inspect it carefully.
