My son races on a Cinelli made just a little earlier and the frame number appears to carry a date code as it starts 85xxxxx - I am pretty certain his frame is an '85. The paintwork is pretty ugly (it is a horrible pearlescent pink with thick black stripes) but it rides really nicely. the rear dropouts are 126mm but we have squeezed 130mm wide Campag Nucleons into the rear.
