Subject: [CR]Tucson Swap Meet Report

Just returned from my first visit to the GABA Tucson Veteran's Day Swap Meet with a carload of stuff. Its a much bigger event than I had imagined, covering 3 or 4 blocked off streets near the Univ of Az campus. While a great deal of mtn bike stuff was there, also some very nice vintage stuff. Greg Yares, CR list member organizes it and had many prizes, including a full Campy lavender Bob Jackson I'm still lusting after.

Examples of the staff I got: - old Ideale saddle (with serial # on the rear name plate - old metal tub (looks like near a quart) of Campy grease (1/3 full, but the can will look great on the work bench) - 2 custom 52 cm Colin Laing touring bikes. TA triples on both, Hi-E wheels on one. (I'm not telling what I paid, in case they end up on eBay, but the price was right) -Kucharik jersey - TTT new adjustable stem - box of usuable tubulars (10-12 tires, some new): $20

So deals were good and its a really neat event. I'll be back next year with more money.
