The Reynolds USA website gives the chemical composition of 531 and 753 as identical. See http://www.reynoldsusa.com/mnmo/mnmo.html Also they say "When the Mn-Mo material is heat treated [snip] the result is our 753 tubing."

Of course, Reynolds USA could be wrong. I'm not being sarcastic, I KNOW they're wrong about some stuff!
