I am sure the reason that Paypal had issue with with the added $3.00 Paypal charge on the auction is that practice I believe is illegal. Remember when gas companys would offer a cash price and a credit price? Not any more. A customer can not be penalized for using a credit card.
Now discounts for cash happen all the time, but they are certainly under the table.
