I leave the clips and straps on the vintage bikes, and wear 1980s cleated leather-soled Vittoria "Professional", or modern slotted plastic-soled Sidi touring (Rivendell).

I have a pair of NOS 1950s Dettos at home, but can't bring myself to wear them.

I'm sending my 1980 Sidi Super Cycle Titaniums to the shoe repair shop... we'll see if they can be rescued. If so, that's what I'll probably use, and use the less-durable Vittorias for special occasions.
