Subject: [CR]FOR SALE-- Titanium Axle

Hi Group-- I have a hollow titanium axle in my "going to ebay" box and thought maybe someone might wish to have it. No markings stamped into it, 137mm long, still has the $40.00 price tag-- Is it worth $25 to anybody? I'll pay the postage.

Also have a pair of Black caged (superleggerri ?) Campy road pedals. Quite nice, very smooth, end caps are a little scraped, some clip marks on the back cage, but the pedals would clean up very well. They have Campagnolo toeclips that have scratches on them and the chrome is gone at the upper radius where the strap goes through. Also Cinelli toe straps (dirty white) with the leather pad on the side, and genuine Campagnolo little round yellow buttons screwed onto the ends of the straps. $110-- I pay the freight.

Thanks-- Nelson Miller-- Seattle

Euro-Asia Imports wound up with the titanium axles for Super Record hubs after Campagnolo decided not to sell the hubs after all. They are all long gone now though. You could get SRP ti axles for Record hubs fairly recently...(I know, not the real deal of course). There were also aluminum alloy front and rear axles made by OMAS to use in Record hubs, but the rears broke very easily, as you would expect. The fronts worked out fine.
